Our Story

A Vision Rooted in Passion and Purpose

From an early age, Clauzairion Harris, the founder of Pathway Academy High School, has been deeply passionate about education and social change. At
just five years old, he dreamed of becoming a teacher—dedicated to supporting and encouraging lifelong learning. However, as he grew older, he was
often reminded that teaching is a challenging profession requiring a diverse skill set. Determined to meet these expectations, he worked diligently to
develop the necessary expertise.

At just 18 years old, after hosting the National Charter Growth Function in Memphis, TN, Clauzairion received 17 job offers from schools across the Mid-
South and beyond. Accepting one of these opportunities marked the beginning of his long-awaited teaching career.

Yet, even as a young educator, Clauzairion felt a deeper calling—to lead and support a school that builds a community of excellence. His experiences in
high school and previous teaching roles allowed him to step i
