Clauzairion Harris has been teaching for four years, leading with purpose and a dedication to student growth. Throughout his career, he has focused on creating engaging, supportive learning environments that empower every student. In his free time, he enjoys reading and exploring new studies to stay current in the field of education. He also cherishes spending quality time with his family, which keeps him grounded and inspired.

I am a dynamic and visionary educational leader with over 27 years of experience in K–12 education. As a founding team member of Pathway Academy High School, I bring a wealth of expertise in instructional leadership, curriculum development, and student-centered learning. My career reflects a deep commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and equity for all learners.  Throughout my career, I have served in a variety of impactful roles—including STEM specialist, science educator, parent liaison, and curriculum writing—driving transformative change in both traditional and charter school environments. I am passionate about integrating STEM principles across disciplines, supporting teacher development, and designing real-world, project-based learning opportunities that prepare students for college, career, and community leadership. I enjoy traveling, reading, dancing and spending time with my family and friends.

Dr. Abdullah is a Seasoned Education Practitioner and Scholar and Diversity Optimist! His Academic research in the area of multicultural competence and expertise in the practical application of inclusive strategies. Dr. Shakeer Abdullah is the Founder and Lead Consultant for Practical Diversity Associates, a full-service leadership, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging firm established in 2011.  Our services are appropriate for organizations and individuals who are seeking professional development or a general education related to diversity, equity, inclusion, anti-racism, and belonging. What distinguishes PDA from competitors is our personalized approach, deep expertise in multicultural competence, and our founder’s extensive background in educational leadership and community engagement.

Mary Swets

Liberal Arts Coordinator

With over 15 years of experience in K–12 education, I bring a strong foundation in instructional design, science education, and behavior-focused learning strategies. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s in Educational Psychology with a focus on behavior therapy. For the past decade, I have specialized in developing science curriculum and, more recently, spent five years leading STEM curriculum initiatives. My work is grounded in creating engaging, standards-aligned content that supports diverse learners and fosters critical thinking across grade levels.
